The DTI Foundation and its Product Advisory Committee responded to DFSA’s consultation paper on the proposed enhancements to the regulation of Crypto Tokens. As the Registration Authority for the ISO 24165 DTI standard and a Designated Numbering Agent for the ISO 6166 ISIN standard, we propose integrating these internationally recognised standards to enable the unambiguous identification of crypto tokens within the DFSA’s regulatory framework, thereby enhancing data quality, investor protection, and market integrity.
